Welcome to Horizons Workplace. By activating your account, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following Terms, Conditions and Usage Policies.

The content of this website is for Horizons, Inc. and Horizons Programs, Inc. employees’ information and use only. It is not to be shared, printed or copied into any other forum, including screen shots and other means of screen capture.

All intellectual property and materials including photos and videos contained in this website and its attached links are the sole property of Horizons, Inc. All posts on this website and device apps are monitored and may be shared, edited or deleted at the discretion of Horizons, Inc.

Workplace is intended for essential work-related purposes. However, using mobile devices to access Workplace while on the job should never interfere with employees’ primary support-providing responsibilities.

The use of Workplace and its device apps contrary to Horizons, Inc. policies and guiding principles will result in termination of access and possible disciplinary action.

Usage Policies

No compensation, monetary or otherwise, for any employee, hourly or otherwise, will be given for any use of Workplace during the employee's non-scheduled time. There is no expectation, or implication, any employee must review, post or reply during non-scheduled hours.

All daily documentation and documentation of support services are to be made on Therap only. Using Workplace for daily documentation, documentation of support services or any other form of documentation is strictly prohibited.

All active Workplace account holders are required to have a business appropriate profile picture. Profile pictures must meet one of the following criteria set forth by Horizons: a current staff ID badge picture, a picture taken by Horizons staff, or a selfie-style picture that has been submitted to your supervisor for approval.  When submitting a photo for approval, please adhere to the following guidelines:

- Use a real photo of yourself
-  Use a recent photo of yourself
-  You should be the only subject in the photo
-  Your face must be in focus
-  Wear appropriate attire. Do not wear anything you wouldn’t wear to work.
-  Use a pleasant facial expression
-  Must be a head shot, nothing below the torso
-  No hats or sunglasses

Use of inappropriate or unprofessional pictures for your profile or anywhere else on the website will result in disciplinary action.

All employees are required to follow the “Horizons Announcements” group. This is where information relating to Horizons that may have been previously sent by email and scoms (Therap) will now be posted. Such as, health alerts from our nurses, leadership opportunities, open enrollment dates and location for health insurance and 401K, Kerri Gallery, new employee introductions, promotions and birth announcements.

To form a group on Workplace a written request must be sent to Chris, Terry or Janice for approval. Written requests must include the reason the group is being formed and a list of potential members' names. Any person forming a group is responsible for monitoring content and maintaining the usage policies of Horizons within said group. Horizons reserves the right to limit or refuse employee access to any and all groups. Horizons also reserves the right to limit all employee activities, such as, but not limited to posting, replying and commenting within each group.

Employees are not required to follow Personal Announcements. Any employee can post or comment in Personal Announcements.  This is where staff can post social announcements and whatever information they want to share. Such as, travel plans, inspirational quotes, ways to connect with each other, engagements, items to give away and invitations to join a cause or event.

Horizons retains the right to add, modify or delete any and all Usage Policies without advance notice.
